A senior Russian military figure has been fatally wounded following an detonation in Moscow, according to an investigative body.
The attack occurred on Monday morning when an IED concealed beneath a vehicle exploded, causing the death of Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov.
Sarvarov was the head of the armed forces' department for training operations.
Investigators mentioned that one possible explanation involves the alleged involvement of Ukrainian intelligence services. To date, Ukraine has remained silent.
